Etna Top Craters – Sumit 3.300 m.

There are many ways to explore Mt Etna… The approach we suggest is a direct contact with the volcanic nature of this majestic mountain!
Starting from Taormina we cross the Pinewood of the South side and reach the ski station at 1900m.

By off road bus or cable car (on the South side), crossing old craters and lava flows, we will reach the highest part of the volcano at 3.000m.
With our Etna licensed guides we start our trekking up to the top and we will walk around the main craters – Bocca Nuova Crater – Voragine Crater – North-East Crater at an altitude of 3.300 meters!

To look inside the craters..deep into the volcano, is just an extraordinary experience that no one will forget.

A fantastic excursion, but the top of mt Etna can be closed at any moment by the Police department because of explosive and dangerous activity of the main craters.

It is possible to book this excursion which will be confirmed the day before.
